Taxi Sound

'Triplet' from reggae/dub legends Sly and Robbie, originally released in '83 as the B-side to Ken Boothe's 'Show and Tell', re-released in 2005 on the 'Taxi Sound' EP. There's also the famous reggae cover of the recently departed Michael Jackson's monster hit 'Billie Jean' on the A-side of 'Taxi Sound' which is worth a look if you haven't heard it before.

Burnin' Up

Listening again to Matt Styles' mix (see below) made me pull out Imagination's 1983 album 'Night Dubbing', which for some reason I had been really sleeping on despite having it for quite some time. It's really worth picking up - original 80s edits and dubs of classic Imagination material. I'm posting 'Burnin' Up' from Mr Styles' mix, packed with big pianos and soaring disco vocals. Top stuff.
